Aim
At the Hucknall Hope Lea Project, we aim to enhance the lives of Adults with Learning Disabilities.
Hope Lea was established in 1984. It was created so that Adults with Learning Disabilities have somewhere to go where they feel safe, and can make connections with each other and with the community. Some of our Adults have been attending since it opened and have made long lasting friendships.
With the donations we receive, we are able to take them out on day trips, and in the community. They also do a myriad of regular activities such as bowling, going to the cinema, baking/cooking, seated exercises, arts & crafts, gardening etc.
The work we do wouldn't be possible without the support of our wonderful community, so thank you all!
