At Honiton Primary School, we believe that reading opens doors. A welcoming, inspiring library can spark imagination, build confidence and give children a lifelong love of books.
Our current library has served generations of pupils, but it now needs refreshing to become the vibrant reading space our children deserve.
We're raising funds to transform our school library into a warm, engaging environment where every child can discover the joy of reading. Your support will help us create a space filled with exciting new books, comfortable reading areas, inspiring displays and resources that encourage children of all ages and abilities to develop a love of literature.
Research shows that children who enjoy reading are more likely to achieve well across the curriculum, improve their vocabulary and communication skills, and develop greater confidence and wellbeing. By investing in our library, we're investing in every child's future.
The Honiton Primary School PTFA works tirelessly to fund projects that enhance children's learning beyond the school's core budget. Thanks to our amazing community, we've already supported outdoor learning, technology, school trips and enrichment activities.
