As thousands face imprisonment under harsh, draconian new National Security legislation, our work matters more than ever. But we cannot do this without you.
We need your support to continue standing up for Hong Kong! Please donate and support our work to defend Hong Kong's freedoms and to speak out for Hong Kong around the world.
Asset freezing, imprisonment, suppression. More than 10,000 protestors have faced political prosecution. Thousands are now in exile. Young democrats in the city are watching their future and aspirations being washed away.
Hong Kong Watch has a global network working with governments and parliaments across four continents. With Hong Kong in an unprecedented crisis, our work is more important than ever, but as a small organisation, we are reliant on an annual crowdfunder to continue our work. That's why we need your help.

Our core goals are:
1. Ensure Hong Kongers are offered a warm welcome around the world - We have been instrumental in calling the UK, US, Canadian and Australian governments to offer immigration routes to Hong Kongers who are in need of refuge outside of Hong Kong. But there is more to do. We want to see the UK, Canadian and Australian offers strengthened, the US Safe Harbor Act pass, and European nations offer safe haven.
2. No Extradition to Hong Kong – Since the launch of our no extradition campaign in 2019, a total of 11 countries adopted our recommendations and suspended their extradition arrangements with Hong Kong. But there is further to go with many European countries continuing to have questionable extradition treaties with China.
3. Hong Kong officials must be sanctioned - It is time for human rights abusers to be held accountable. We helped draft the US Hong Kong Autonomy Act which mandates financial sanctions on individuals and companies, but are now pushing for governments around the world to step up.
4. Spotlighting political prisoners - We will continue to speak up for political prisoners. Thousands are facing jail time. They must not be forgotten!

✓ We were the leading organisation calling for the UK government to enact its BNO passport offer – shifting parliamentary and government attitudes to offer a pathway to citizenship for 3 million people
✓ We helped draft of the US Hong Kong Autonomy Act which mandate financial sanctions, and drove support the Human Rights and Democracy Act
✓ Canada and Australia both adopted versions of our ‘young talents’ proposals to offer a lifeline to young Hong Kongers
✓ We drafted a European Parliament resolution which shaped the European Union’s response to the passage of the National Security Law
✓ In 2020, we briefed more than 200 parliamentarians around the world
✓ We are regularly interviewed and quoted by major international media such as the BBC, the Economist, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, The Times, the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph, Al-Jazeera and other global media for comment and analysis. In 2020, Hong Kong Watch’s opinion pieces and comments appeared in over 350 international media reports.
The Hong Kong Watch team is led by Benedict Rogers, our Chief Executive Officer and Johnny Patterson, our Policy Director, along with our Senior Policy Advisor Sam Goodman and our Associate Joey Siu. The reach of our work is further extended through engaging in advocacy with our patrons who are senior diplomats, policymakers and parliamentarians in the UK, the US, the European Union, Germany, the Netherlands and Canada and with member states at the United Nations during the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.

【 橫跨全球的國際連結網絡 】
香港監察建立了橫跨全球的國際連結網絡，數年來與來自四大洲的多國政府和國會保持著緊密聯繫及合作。香港正處於前所未遇的危機中，我們的工作也更顯重要。但作為規模不大的人權組織，我們一直依賴一年一度的眾籌活動維持運作，所以我們十分需要各位香港人的慷慨解囊。
在香港監察各國贊助人，包括前港督彭定康勳爵， 奧爾頓勳爵等的支持下，我們的工作範圍在不斷擴大：
為香港抗爭者設立「全球救生艇」—— 我們帶頭推動了英國政府落實BNO政策，為300百萬香港人提供了移居英國的途徑；提出的「青年人才計劃」提案獲得加拿大及澳洲政府採納，為香港人提供到當地定居的途徑。
前港督彭定康於2020年曾去信呼籲加拿大落實香港監察「青年人才」計劃， 幫助香港年青抗爭者。
香港監察一直致力為BNO爭取權益，曾於2019年3月在英國議會舉辦史上首個BNO平權研討會，由英國上議院議員兼香港監察贊助人奧爾頓勳爵主持。
過去數年，香港監察在與英國政府官員及國會議員的會面中不斷向英國施加壓力，最終BN(O)計劃亦成功於各方努力下得以落實。我們將繼續於英國幫助完善相關計劃，希望新到埗的香港人都能夠得到足夠的支援，可以儘快融入當地社會。
制裁中港官員 —— 香港監察推動了美國國會通過《香港自治法》，針對違反人權的個人和公司進行金融制裁，並將進一步倡議其他國家加緊行動
聚焦香港政治犯 —— 我們會繼續為政治犯發聲，絕不讓世界遺忘「良心犯」
推動暫緩引渡協議 —— 自活動開始已有總共11個國家採納建議暫停與香港的引渡協議，我們正爭取世界各國停止與中國的引渡條約
【 我們的工作離不開香港人的支持 】
我們起草的議案於《港版國安法》落實後獲歐洲議會大比數通過，並獲得了大比數歐洲議會議員的支持
單單於2020年，我們為超過200位全球各國的議員政要就香港的局勢提供了詳細的介紹，並出席了無數大大小小的公開及非公開會議
