Aim
Swifts are amazing birds but they are in trouble - we are raising funds to provide nest boxes and caller systems to establish new colonies.
We are RSPB Antrim Local Group. We are raising money to buy swift nest boxes and caller systems to Give Swifts a Home in our local area. This will give swifts a better chance of finding a place to nest and rear their young.
We will give the swift nest boxes to people in our area, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough, to put up before next spring. We will also loan them a swift caller system, which, when played near the nest box, will encourage swifts to explore and hopefully use the new box.
