Home Education Call to Action

The Welsh government has published new home education guidance which families believe will lead to the undermining of parental primacy in their children’s lives and invasion of our right to privacy and family life.

• If this stands unchallenged, other UK countries are likely to adopt it and it will not stop there. 

Education Otherwise is already funding the initial specialist legal advice on behalf of our service users, but we need your help to act further.

We must come together to fight this guidance and protect the entire home educating community.

Help us to fight for your children's rights, your rights to act in the best interests of your children and the right of every parent to resist this creeping move to treat parents as guilty until proven innocent.

Education Otherwise will always support the rights of parents and the home education community and challenge unreasonable interference. Will you help us?

Please note that if the campaign funds exceed the legal costs any individual making a donation can ask for their share of the excess to be refunded to them, less fees within 14 days of the final fees account being received. Any funds remaining after that date will be used by the charity to support home education.
