Our project aims to fund the completion of our club house facilities providing toilets and showers for our players and visiting teams.

On the 6th June 2023 we'd raised £15,345 with 128 supporters in 0 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If we meet our stretch target, we would also like to develop our community room where teams and supporters can come together after the game.
The development of our clubhouse started as the cost-of-living crisis hit, and the funds raised were no longer sufficient to complete the project. Our clubhouse has no plumbing or lighting, meaning we have no basic facilities such as toilets or showers. While raising funds to provide these basic facilities, we want to invest in energy-efficient technology such as water-efficient showers and low-energy lighting. It is the primary goal of our fundraiser to provide these.
Our teams simply want to play rugby and represent Holyhead at our home. However, visiting teams are reluctant to play at Holyhead as we can not provide changing facilities, toilets and showers for after the game.
Whilst our completed facilities will be basic, we want our clubhouse to be a home that our community is proud of, encouraging more people locally to come together to support their local teams.
In the present condition, we have no disabled access with access to the clubhouse requiring the ability to climb a step of approximately 0.5 meters from uneven ground. We aim to finish the clubhouse to a basic level to offer safe access, toilets and a safe indoor facility to enable spectators to have an area to watch the pitch if they do not want to or cannot stand outside.
We want to offer all our community access to the benefits that team sports can offer, such as building self-confidence, developing teamwork skills, learning respect and the feeling of belonging. Having a local club doesn't just give the community the possibility of participating in sports, it provides a free local facility to join to watch a game, meet friends, meet strangers and enjoy social interaction over a shared interest.
Please consider donating to our fundraiser and maybe claiming a little reward to thank you for your support. Your donation will help us reach our fundraising target and finish building our clubhouse.
