Let's celebrate our past 50 years and future proof our club for the next 50. We aim to provide an inclusive & successful environment for All

Who are we... Holy Trinity Boxing Club is one of the most successful voluntary sports clubs in Belfast and beyond. We have been building character and champions inside and outside the boxing ring for 50 years. Our 2019/20 short season seen Holy Trinity boxers win 129 Gold Medals and 25 Silver Medals at County, Provincial and National level. 

Why we need your help... This year marks the 50th anniversary of our club and we have faced many obstacles along the way. But Covid-19 came in swinging and packed a punch. For the first time in our history we were forced to close and cancel all group training and coaching. While this was of course necessary to play our part it had major drawbacks. Development of our members physically, mentally and socially was stopped for far too long. We didn't throw in the towel, we’ve been fighting on and bringing boxing back. No child or member should be disadvantaged due to circumstances beyond their control. This challenge will require an extraordinary effort to overcome and our gloves are on! We believe sport contributes massively to our community and that everyone should be given the opportunity to participate. With your support we will work tirelessly to provide the best possible facilities and opportunities for our members. Giving them every chance to become successful both as an athlete and a person.  

What the Funds will be used for... With your help we can put in place a programme to really kickstart our recovery from Covid. We can celebrate our last 50 years and future proof our club for the next 50. We will; - update and purchase more equipment to provide the best possible training environment. - take our members on club trips and training camps to places they may otherwise never see and provide them with experiences they will never forget.  - Run multiple boxing shows throughout the year to increase competitive opportunities for more members and purchase new Holy Trinity branded competition kits to increase club awareness. - bring in specialist speakers on diet, nutrition and mental health - knowledge is power! - highlight and preserve the fantastic 50 year history of the club with a series of events throughout 2022. Including a Gala dinner, a short video on our history and greatest successes, a club tour for the wider community showcasing thousands of photos and a Questions and Answers session.

We believe the above steps will enable our club to fully recover from the setbacks brought on by Covid and put us on the path to a successful future.
