Aim
The parish of Holne loves putting on fun, inclusive events. But it can get a bit wet here on Dartmoor. So we want to buy a Marquee!
To ensure success in future years and also to provide a resource available to all, we are launching a fund to ‘Raise a Marquee’. We want to make sure that we can always stage the Revel (or any other event) under cover. We need to raise £1500 to purchase a new Gala marquee which will then be available for anyone in Holne / Scoriton to borrow. The idea has already met with positive reception from people interested in supporting the venture. There is a donation box in the shop and a ‘Raise a Marquee’ thermometer on display.
