Hello, I'm Jalisa and I believe true beauty blossoms when the body and mind are in harmony. For me, aesthetics has never been just about the surface; it’s about nurturing the entire self, fostering a deep connection between our inner well-being and our outer glow. This holistic philosophy and truly believeing that God created each of us unique and for each of us to love ourselves naturally: Body & Mind Aesthetics,  a space dedicated to a new kind of beauty – one that embraces natural, organic healing and celebrates the radiant self within.

My journey to Body & Mind Aesthetics began not in a beauty salon, but in my own search for balance. I saw countless people chasing quick fixes, often exposing their skin and bodies to harsh chemicals, while their minds remained stressed and their spirits unfulfilled. I knew there had to be a gentler, more profound way. Through my own journey of self love again, and my journey of turning to God to turly heal me and help me see myself the way he intended me to be. The way He sees me. This led me to the incredible world of holistic esthetics, where every treatment is an opportunity to heal, soothe, and rejuvenate from the inside out.

I envision a sanctuary where clients experience the transformative power of nature. Imagine stepping into a calming space, softly lit and infused with the pure scents of essential oils. Here, you won't just receive a facial; you'll embark on a bespoke journey tailored to your unique needs. We'll use carefully selected organic, plant-based ingredients – think soothing calendula, purifying green clay, and hydrating rosehip oil – to nourish your skin. But the care doesn't stop there.

For every treatment, I'll offer custom-blended herbal teas, crafted to promote relaxation, aid digestion, or uplift the spirit, recognizing that what we put into our bodies profoundly impacts our skin. Aromatherapy will be woven throughout every session, using therapeutic essential oils to calm anxieties, boost mood, and enhance the healing experience. It’s about creating an integrated aesthetic: healthy, glowing skin born from a peaceful mind and a nurtured body. 

This vision, however, remains just out of reach due to a very common, yet debilitating, hurdle: financial debt. Years of dedication to education have left me with substantial student loans, and other accumulated debts further tighten the squeeze. These financial obligations demand a significant portion of my income each month, leaving little to invest in the beautiful organic products, the specialized equipment, and the serene space that Body & Mind Aesthetics truly deserves.
