Aim
Hoglet Hope is based in Suffolk, dedicated to helping injured, orphaned and vulnerable hedgehogs recover and return to the wild.
My mission is simple: to give hedgehogs the best possible chance of survival. Through rescue, rehabilitation and education, Hoglet Hope plays a vital role in safeguarding Suffolk’s hedgehog population..
I care for injured, orphaned and vulnerable hedgehogs, providing the treatment and support they need to recover and return to the wild.
Funds raised will go towards essential supplies such as food, bedding and safe enclosures for the hedgehogs in my care, helping me continue this work and give every hedgehog a second chance.
Hoglet Hope is led by a lifelong passion for animals. I have cared for a wide range of animals over the years - from tortoises and terrapins to chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs - and I carry out much of the day-to-day rescue work, with valued support from others when needed.
Since 2020, when the rescue began during lockdown, much of the cost has been self-funded, alongside generous donations from local supporters and some support from the council.
As the number of hedgehogs needing help continues, so do the costs of caring for them. Your support will help Hoglet Hope provide food, treatment and safe shelter, giving every hedgehog the best possible chance of returning to the wild. By protecting hedgehogs, we’re helping to support a balanced and healthy local ecosystem.
