Aim

Hindley Green needs a Community Centre. We need a space, in the heart of our community, run by our community, for our community.

Hindley Green needs a Community Centre. We need a space, in the heart of our community, managed and operated by members of our community, for the benefit of everyone across our community. We want somewhere that can offer a range of services for young and old, a place to get together with friends, to perhaps have a chat over a cuppa in the community cafe. A place anyone can go to for advice and information about local services, opportunities and more. A community space for regular activities and group sessions, such as over 60s Friendship Club, Youth Club, Parent & Toddler Club, Crafting Club and School Holiday Clubs. We want a space for the Community Book Club, somewhere that can provide access to IT, and able to offer rooms for meetings and events. Hindley Green needs a Community Centre that can provide pretty much anything our community needs and be whatever our community wants it to be.
