The Hillsborough Law is a vital step towards truth, justice, and accountability.
For decades, their families and survivors fought tirelessly for truth and justice—against a system that protected institutions instead of people. Their struggle exposed a pattern of denial, delay, and deceit repeated in other tragedies..
The Hillsborough Law campaign was born from that fight and is supported by families and survivors from all these campaigns, alongside many MPs and peers across Parliament. Together, we’re demanding a fairer system—one built on truth, accountability, and equality before the law.
The Hillsborough Law would make truth-telling a legal duty and ensure ordinary people have equal access to justice. Please donate to help us make this law a reality and honour every fight for truth.
We are campaigners, families and survivors who have spent decades fighting for truth, justice, and accountability. Our movement began with the Hillsborough families—mothers, fathers, children, and supporters who refused to give up when the system failed them. Over time, we’ve been joined by families and campaigners from other tragedies: Grenfell, Manchester Arena, the Infected Blood scandal, and the Post Office Horizon scandal.
Together, we’ve seen how cover-ups, denial, and inequality of arms continue to harm ordinary people. The Hillsborough Law would change that—creating a legal duty of candour and guaranteeing fair access to justice for all.
We’re running this campaign independently, without major funding. Donations go directly towards our work with families and campaigners, lobbying Parliament, and ensuring the law delivers real change. Please help us finish this fight and make the Hillsborough Law a reality.
We’re closer than ever to seeing the Hillsborough Law become reality—but there’s a real danger it will be watered down. Powerful institutions are already pushing back against key parts of the Bill, including the duty of candour and measures to ensure ordinary people have equal access to justice. Without strong, united campaigning, vital protections could be lost.
We need your help to make sure that doesn’t happen. Your donation helps us brief MPs and peers, mobilise public support, and keep families’ voices at the heart of the debate. This is our one chance to make sure the law has real power to prevent future injustices like Hillsborough, Grenfell, Infected Blood, Manchester Arena, and Horizon.
Please stand with the families and campaigners—help us keep the pressure on and stop the Hillsborough Law from being weakened.
