On 27 March 2026 these 5 dedicated people will lose their jobs and the Hilldrop Inclusive Play Project will close forever — unless we step in and fund them right now.

Meet the team we are fighting to keep (on behalf of whom this campaign is run):

• Mick – 20 years at Hilldrop. Always in the garden playing football with the kids.  
• Sharon – Deputy Manager. Works closely with the early-years children and cooks all the snacks and meals.  
• Amy – Over 10 years here. The artist who runs every single art session.  
• Stacy – 3 years with us. Works closely with early-years and SEND children.  
• Iola Isaac (Play Project Manager) – 7 years here. Also Hilldrops DSL, without her children are simple not aloud in the building

They all love working with children. This is not just a job for them — it’s their calling.I’m Pat Maher, a Hilldrop parent whose own son has been supported by Iola and the team. I am running this campaign on behalf of the 5 staff and will be volunteering full-time on outreach to help save the project.This is an “All or Nothing” campaign

We only receive the money if we hit the full £35,000 target.

This is an emergency bridge fund to pay the wages of these exact 5 people for the next 2–3 months.

The money will be controlled by me (Pat) and paid directly to the 5 staff (or ring-fenced for their wages only) — not to HACA.That keeps the full team employed, the after-school club, holiday schemes and specialist SEND support running, while I volunteer on outreach to force the reversal.Full Transparency (Nightshift style)
