Hiking the South Downs

Aim: To raise awareness for and remind people of the still ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine.

I hiked the first half of the South Downs trail from Winchester to Arundel a few months ago over the course of a few days. At the time I had no donations and decided to put a fiver in myself and call it a day. 

After I had stopped some donations came in, and I feel that as a man of my word I should finish the job.

I'll be completing the remaining ~40miles this weekend, hopefully within a 24hours.

I started out with the intention of raising awareness (or reminding) of the ongoing crisis in Palestine. I think that it's abhorrent that crimes like this can still be committed in the world today.

I'm not sure if the Red Cross is the best Charity for donating aid for Palestine in terms of efficient spending on their behalf, but they say they are providing aid, and so I chose this one.
