We're putting together a completely free to attend, diverse line-up of incredible bands and artists for your enjoyment in late 2022.
High Taste at Home was born from the combined love and passion for music and the arts that Invicta Media and Images & Words: The Prog Discord share.
Invicta have worked previously on developing and organising online festivals Tech Fest At Home (16.2k views) and Techabilitation At Home (7.3k views) and one of the joys of running both events was having fans across the planet collectively attend and interact with the bands and amongst themselves.
In the spirit of that, we're planning a third online festival - "High Taste At Home" - in which we're collaborating with Images & Words: The Prog Discord. I&W is the largest rock and metal community on the thriving Discord live chat platform, and our aim in working together on this project is to establish an online festival that focuses on bringing people together to support the music they love, find new bands and bring a more community-driven spin to the online festival format.
Some of the ideas we're considering to make this online festival work for both the artists involved and the fans include a virtual merch table, limited edition posters and artwork prints and a host of other plans to liven up the experience for all involved.
In consideration of the fact that this event is entirely free to attend in order to not lock anything behind a paywall and provide everyone an equal opportunity to be involved, we do need your help. The more funds we raise pre-event, the bigger names you'll see getting regularly added to the line-up, the wider range of merch ideas and community-involved events we can put on for the duration of the festival. We want workshops, guest appearances, masterclasses, panel talks, artist involvement and maybe some sneaky surprises from artists you love from this year's line-up... But we can't do all of that without your help.
The money will go towards securing even bigger artists and will also help us to give back to the bands involved. Everything raised from the Crowdfunder after costs will go directly back to every band or artist on the line-up, including creatives that help us turn this into a reality. You deserve to be paid for your art, and we want to help artists thrive.
