Hi Fest – Community Music Festival on Hayling Island
Hi Fest is a community-led music festival on Hayling Island, bringing together local bands, artists, venues, and volunteers for a weekend of live music and summer vibes.
Every year, all musicians and sound engineers donate their time, and the festival is run entirely by volunteers. Local pubs contribute towards PA hire for individual shows, but there isn’t a central pot of funding to cover the wider costs — like shared sound equipment, technical support, marketing, and accessibility — that make the festival happen safely and sustainably.
Importantly, all money raised over the festival weekend goes directly to a local charity, giving back to the community while supporting live music.
