Herne Hill Forum Halloween 2025

Aim

Organise Herne Hill Forum's Halloween Celebration: a free, fun-filled event for families & young children with plenty of drop-in activities.

The Herne Hill Forum is a community group located in the heart of London's Herne Hill (postcode area SE24). What we do:

• Create vibrant community spaces
• Produce engaging projects
• Organise welcoming events 

Our popular Halloween Celebration event is a free, fun-filled, and inclusive event for all children and families in the Herne Hill area. The last two years were a great success, and we intend to return even bigger and better for 2025. You can expect to:

• Dance your heart out to spooky tunes at the children's disco
• Be wowed by street performances: dance show, stilt walker
• Try your luck with a prize draw or treasure hunt
• Alternatively, have your luck foretold by our resident fortune teller...
• Explore our dedicated areas: selfie corner with plenty of props, an area especially for toddlers to play, and a buggy park to declutter the main street

None of the above would be possible without the support of Herne Hill's local businesses, residents, and volunteers. We need your help to make this celebration a reality again for yourself and your neighbours. We use the funds raised from this crowdfunder to cover a number of different costs, such as:

• Event organisation & support
• Equipment rental (gazebos, generator)
• Payment of entertainers’ fees
• Ensuring a safe and secure environment for all attendees (first aider, fire department, event supervision). 

All donations are welcome! Whether you throw in a single magic £1 coin or pour in a grand £50 potion, your generosity will help conjure a memorable and magical evening for all.

From 5pm to 7pm on October 31, the pedestrian area out front of Herne Hill Station will transform into a buzzing Halloween hub. Ghost or a ghoul, witch or warlock, everyone is welcome and every penny counts as we work to realise this year's Halloween celebration!
