Aim

Keeping Herne Bay Carnival Day free, safe and inclusive, bringing our community together to celebrate, connect and create lasting memories.

Hi, I'm Kate, and together with a small team of dedicated volunteers, we spend our spare time organising Herne Bay Carnival Day. We all give our time freely because we share one vision: to bring our community together through a fun, inclusive event that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age or budget.

Herne Bay Carnival Day is completely free to attend, but it costs around £12,000 to deliver. That covers essential expenses such as entertainment, staging and equipment, insurance, licences, first aid, security, toilets and everything needed to make the day safe, enjoyable and memorable.

From the colourful parade through the town , Pavement Art Competition and Talent show to our FREE live music after the parade, and finishing the day with our spectacular fireworks display, we're proud to offer a full day of entertainment that everyone can enjoy without buying a ticket.

We're incredibly grateful to our sponsors, whose generosity helps cover a significant part of these costs. Even so, there is still a funding gap that we need to fill each year.

Every penny raised through this appeal will go directly towards delivering Herne Bay Carnival Day. Your donation will help us cover the remaining costs, keep the event free for everyone, and ensure we can continue creating a day that brings families, friends, local businesses and the wider community together.
