HER Productions 10 Year Anniversary Season

Aim

Help us make HERstory in 2027. We’ve got an anniversary to celebrate. We just need to survive until the party.

In 2027, HER Productions turns 10. TEN. Whole. Years. Of. Theatre.

We’re a female-led, Manchester-based theatre company, and we’ve spent the last decade making bold, brilliant, slightly unruly work — including our much-loved Unseemly Shakespeare.

But after a string of funding rejections, we’re having to get creative about how we make our 10th anniversary season happen.

So, we’re asking our audience, our community and anyone who believes theatre is worth fighting for to help us raise the funds to keep HER Productions going.

Our 2027 season will include one play, one Vignettes, our 10th Unseemly Shakespeare, plus community activity and pop-up Shakespeare events — all designed to bring theatre out of the building and into the community, with free opportunities for people to take part.

Because ten years feels like something worth celebrating.

And we’d really rather celebrate it on stage than in a sad little spreadsheet.
