Aim: I’m building the post-surgery bra's I couldn’t find after cancer: soft, supportive, and actually wearable. Please Help me make it happen.

Why I Started H.E.R Bodywear

I’ve been through breast cancer twice - once in my 20s and once in my 30s. I’ve had more breast surgeries than I care to count.

I searched high and low for a bra that didn’t itch, dig in, ride up, flatten me out, restrict me, or make me feel like an OAP (!!). It didn’t exist...

I knew something had to change.

So, I started designing the bra I wish I’d had. Something soft. Something supportive. Something that helps you feel like yourself again.

What We’re Building

H.E.R Bodywear creates bras for women after breast cancer, cosmetic surgery, or any kind of breast trauma. They’re back and front-fastening, wire-free, soft, smooth, seamless, and sculpting - and actually empowering to wear.

We’re combining medical function with real comfort, style, and dignity… plus, they don’t look like they were designed for your grandma.

What Women Are Saying

Too many women are left feeling uncomfortable and unseen in their recovery. I’m on a mission to change that... because healing deserves better.

Since launching our first HERO bra, I’ve been flooded with messages from women saying:

• “Where has this bra been all my life?”
• “I finally feel confident in my own skin again.”
• “I wore mine every day for six weeks straight.”

But we’re just getting started.
There’s so much more I want to create... and that’s where you come in.

Why I’m Crowdfunding

I’m launching this crowdfunder as part of a competition with Crowdfunder UK and Muddy Stilettos. If we raise at least £1,000, with at least 25 people backing us, we’re in with a chance of winning £10,000 to grow the brand and help even more women.

But even if we don’t win, this campaign will still fund some really exciting business developments. Including:

• New colourways (we’ve got some gorgeous ones planned)
• More inclusive sizing, based on real feedback
• Improving our website to reach more women
• Spreading the word to reach women who need this the most

We’re using a “keep what you raise” model - so every pledge really does matter.

We truly believe that crowdfunding is the perfect way to secure funding for this next chapter. During these difficult times, the emotional challenges women face during recovery are something we can all relate to - because everyone knows someone affected by breast cancer.

💌 £250 - Sponsor a Warrior Weekend Guest
Fund a place for a breast cancer survivor to attend a Warrior Weekend retreat. You’ll receive a handwritten note and updates from the participant.
