The Prize
This fun and colourful farmyard quilt made from cotton can be used as a bed throw or as a wall hanging as there is a hanging sleeve on the reverse to insert dowling. The letters are edged with hand embroidery. Perfect for brightening up any children's bedroom, playroom or nursery.
The animal themed quilt measures 42''x 52'' (approx 107cms x 132cms). It has been pre-washed to allow for any shrinkage so if you wish, the quilt can be treated on a gentle 30 degree wash.
As a bonus there are second and third prizes up for grabs. The second number drawn will receive an adult size apron with a chicken design and the third lucky number drawn will win a set of six matching chicken themed placemats.

I have homed many rescue hens over the years and it's always a thrill to see these girls enjoying a second bite of life and their new found freedom.

BHWT re-homes laying hens when they reach the end of their commercial laying life. They encourage support for the British egg industry with an ultimate aim to see consumers and food manufacturers buy only UK produced free-range eggs. BHWT's aim is for a strong British egg industry where all commercial laying hens enjoy a good quality of life.
Donating £5 will fund most of the costs of saving just one hen's life. To save a hen's life requires fuel in the vans to collect the hens, feed for the girls once they arrive at the rehoming point plus any necessary vets fees which may arise. Anything over and above that BHWT direct funds into educating the next generation of hen keepers and improving better welfare for the hens they cannot rehome.
How to Enter
To support BHWT please donate just £5 which will give you one entry into the Prize Draw. By donating up to £20 will give you four Prize Draw entries.
If you wish to enter the Prize Draw for free your entry should be submitted by Standard post (first or second class letter or postcard) or by Standard rate phone call or SMS.
The Prize Draw closes on Friday 9th of May at 12 noon. There will be a computer generated random draw which will pick the winning entries and the names will be notified on both the Crowdfunding page and Facebook unless you choose to be an anonymous entry. Once chosen I will contact the winners using the email provided in the Prize Draw entries list. I will then arrange for the delivery of the prizes directly with the winners.
Winners have a week to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days then there will be another random draw to select a replacement winner.
