To convert a disused outbuilding to provide a fitness / health & wellbeing centre for use by school children and local residents
Funds raised will be used to convert a disused outbuilding into a fitness, health and wellbeing centre for pupils of Henley-in-Arden school and Venture Academy. Local residents from the local community will have opportunities to use the space at evenings or weekends.
The new building will offer a multi-functional space to allow groups to improve their fitness, health and wellbeing. Group training equipment will be purchased and stored securely in the facility.
There is a clear need for this in the community since the WASPS took over the fitness facilities across the road. Additionally, both schools have limited provision for indoor activity areas so the new space will have a direct influence on the fitness, health and wellbeing of the pupils aged 11-16.
Any support for this project will be greatly appreciated whether in the form of donations or shares!
