We need your help in opening Ellary's, a brand new neighbourhood food & drink spot in SE London! From the team that brought you The Orchard.
Hello, and thank you for being here and reading this!
We are so excited to be telling you the plans for our new opening - Ellary's
We're Em & Ed and we ran The Orchard restaurant in Brockley, SE London, for the last 14 years. After a period of challenging times for our industry, we made the very difficult decision to close our doors in July. Having had some time to step away and look back at what we created, and to see the impact it's closure had on the local community, it became apparent to us that this shouldn't be the end of the story for us and the site - we were ready to create something new!
We really feel Brockley is a better place with this space open and bustling - a family run, independent business, welcoming everyone in to relax and enjoy our hospitality. We have missed being there at the heart of the community that we have loved being part of for so many years.
We are now in the exciting and nerve wracking period of opening a new business, this comes with huge costs, not only to upgrade and repair existing parts of the property, but also to refresh and renew the decor, furniture and layout. This is where we really need your help and support in getting Ellary's open and flourishing.
Ellary's will be your new neighbourhood bar - comfortable, warm and welcoming. Serving simple yet delicious food & drink that you can dip in and out of at your leisure, a whole new menu with an Orchard favourite returning... the Bavette Steak will be making a comeback! We'll also be focusing on affordability too, making sure that the prices make us an easy place to enjoy. Pop in for a drink with friends at the bar or stay all night and work your way through the menus! Either way we cannot wait to welcome you and hear the clink of plates and glasses again.
We are running a Crowdfunding campaign to raise the vital money we need to make our plans a reality. You can pledge any amount you wish or you can sign up for a reward. Everyone who supports our campaign will have their names written up on our pledge wall at Ellary's for all to see as a sign of our huge gratitude. Included in the rewards are some brilliant donations from amazing local businesses who are supporting us. It just goes to show what a wonderful community we have here in South East London.
