An Essential Safety Net for Musicians Today
A cellist undergoing brain tumor surgery. A singer in need of critical dental reconstruction. These are just two examples of musicians in need who have applied for grants to help pay necessary bills. Despite the incredible gift musicians give to our society, they are too often living with no safety net, and are one crisis away from losing their home or having a medical condition untreated.
Since 1914, Musicians Foundation has provided financial assistance to professional performers, composers, and music educators, like the two above, in times of need.
We are raising funds to provide emergency support for eligible professional musicians facing urgent hardships now.
Musicians who apply for assistance grants from Musicians Foundation are working musicians whose lives have been disrupted by medical emergencies, serious illness, accidents, and sudden loss of income. Many are struggling to cover rent, medical expenses, health insurance, utilities, and other essentials.
Your gift today helps us respond quickly to musicians needing support now, as you read this. When you donate, you directly fund the grants that cover medical bills, housing costs, and more.
