Help them get started
Your support makes a difference
Extending our Saturday tuition into weekday home support, helping children grow in confidence, learning, and everyday development.
My name is Kadene, and I’ve spent years working in nurseries, where I saw firsthand just how important early years education is in shaping a child’s future.
I also saw something else.
Some children had the support they needed - and others didn’t.
That gap stays with them.
So I started small.
I began tutoring a few children on Saturdays in my mother’s living room, after parents approached me worried about how their children would cope at school. What started as a small idea quickly grew, because the need was real.
Later, a local shop volunteered their space to help me to support more children. Then, when the pandemic came, I made the decision to continue supporting children in their homes, so they wouldn’t fall behind.
That experience changed everything.
I saw how powerful it was to support children in their own environment, not just academically, but emotionally too.
Later on, Chanelle joined the programme, and together we built it into the service it is today. We eventually expanded into a larger space, allowing us to support even more children and families.
Throughout this journey, one thing has always remained the same:
We believe every child deserves access to quality support, regardless of their background.
Our Vision
We are now taking the next step.
We are extending our Saturday tuition into weekday, in-home support - working with children consistently in the place they feel most comfortable: their home.
This will allow us to:
• Support children daily, not just once a week
• Build stronger relationships and routines
• Help children grow in confidence, focus, and ability
• Support families more holistically
This is about more than tutoring.
It’s about closing the gap.
How Your Support Will Help
The funds raised will help us to:
• Train and upskill our staff to deliver high-quality, in-home support
• Ensure all safeguarding measures are in place (DBS checks, training, policies)
• Develop systems to match families with the right support
• Provide access to families who may not be able to afford full support
• Begin working towards a dedicated space in the future, so we can reach even more children
Why This Matters
We’ve seen what happens when children are given the right support early on.
They don’t just improve in school.
They become more confident, more engaged, and more prepared for life.
With your support, we can reach more children, support more families, and continue building something that truly makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
