Mission To Europe are a charity working in Romania who help to improve the quality of life and alleviate suffering for disabled people.

A group of occupational therapists and physiotherapists are travelling to Romania in May 2018 to work with local healthcare providers and carers to introduce moving and handling equipment and train the carers in using it.  The equipment is equipment from the UK which has been superseded but is in good working order and includes slings and hoists.   In Romania many carers do not have access to equipment or training which safely moves people and helps to prevent pressure sores.  All the therapists are self funding for food, accommodation and travel and I am funding raising with the aim of covering these costs.
