Aim

#Help100 - a campaign to enrich the lives of 100 children, with 100 hours of exciting, fun and stimulating activities.

#Help100 - A campaign to enrich the lives of 100 disadvantaged children, with 100 hours of exciting, fun and stimulating activities.

For too many of our young people life has been very hard, and frequently they need the fundamental values of love, trust and respect restored. By building relationships and fostering trust, our projects give young people the tools to feel stable, to become more resilient and to develop self-respect.

Often it's during school holidays and weekends that children can become involved in risky or unsafe behaviour, can suffer loneliness or boredom. We want those children to have the opportunity to attend regular programmes, holiday clubs and Saturday schools, with leaders they know, trust and are inspired by.

Working in some of the most deprived areas of Bristol, we have met many children who have experienced more challenges and obstacles than many adults. It is these children who sometimes miss out on their childhoods.

By taking part in creative activities, children are able to develop better communication and social skills - and are given an opportunity to express themselves.

Having increased confidence and self-worth can help tackle low self esteem, which often occurs in vulnerable young people.

Meeting new people and having new experiences can really help broaden young people's horizons, showing them that there are many different opportunities in life and so many paths they can follow.

Our overall funding aim is 60k but we are breaking this down into smaller, more achievable pots. Through this campaign we are asking for help to fund 10 children for 100 hours.

Thank you so much for supporting #Help100!
