Aim: Yellow TSE (The Social Enterprise) 's aim is to be a warm safe hub to meet people and feel part of our community in the City Centre.

Yellow TSE (The Social Enterprise) means we’re not for profit all the profits we make go to charities. Our aim is to create a safe space for you to come grab a coffee get your dried goods and reusables refilled in a calm welcoming environment. Be able to shop sustainably from local business’ doing good for the planet and good for the community. 

Yellow is more than just a refill store, its a safe space, its a change in the way we shop it’s setting a path for a better future. 

We are also registered safe space.

Why YellowTSE needs your help

Two years in the planning it was finally time to launch YellowTSE with multiple hurdles along the way, we found a place for Yellow to call home. It needed a lot of work re-wiring, new floors all new furniture, refill stands, coffee machine it needed the lot! Little did we know about one of the biggest financial crashes in years was about to happen. After just spending all that money bringing yellow to life it was time to get people knowing about yellow, with people tightening their belts and shopping less and juggling all the obstacles that came our way it became a money pit, to having make tough decisions was crucial to the survival of yellow. We’re finally getting a regular customer base more people are getting to know about yellow! However we’ve been hit with unexpected fees that need to be paid, so it’s come to a time to ask for your help.

It’s been super hard trying to open a new business, getting people to know about yellow all whilst trying to do the majority of it on my own. I am someone who will always try to do it on my own and very rarely ask for help but it’s got to a point that if I don’t ask for help I could lose it all. I believe in YellowTSE and everything is has to offer, it was off to a rocky start but it could have a bright future with your help. 

What we need- we need helping covering the backdated service charge as well as more furniture for our store to make it a more comfortable environment where you can sit and relax, get some work done and have a generally nice time here. 

I talk about YellowTSE as a ‘we’ as I believe Yellow is more than just me it’s for the community, it’s for a better world, one small change at a time.
