Aim
The aim of FoSL14 is to restore and protect Saddletank No 14 for future generations, and retain its place as part of Corby's Heritage
Hi Friend,
FoSL14 is a newly formed group setup with the aim of restoring the saddletank steam engine now residing at East Carlton Country Park, and which once proudly worked as part of Stewarts and Lloyds steelworks in Corby, as engine number 14, and more recently as a resident fixture in both Corby's West Glebe Park and East Carlton Country Park, visited and known by many local people over 50 or so years.
We aim to have the engine restored to its former glory, and protected such that it can once again help share the stories from Corby's past with future generations, and help enrich our local Heritage for years to come.
Your financial support will help get our campaign up and running, and allow us to move forward with the restoration. All donors will be kept fully informed of developments throughout this exciting project.
