Help Us To Prove Our Home Is Uninhabitable

My aim of this fundraiser is to provide the local authority/solicitor & doctors with the evidence that our home is making us sick.

For nearly a decade, my family and I have been trapped in a home infested with mould. This toxic environment has severely impacted our health, affecting myself and my children, my cats and my plants. My daughter suffers from Marfan's syndrome, a life-threatening illness, and my youngest is autistic. Despite the physical symptoms we've experienced - including coughing up blood and nosebleeds - medical professionals have dismissed our concerns as mental health issues or mere health anxieties, which is common in the UK for mould related issues.

We have developed multiple vitamin deficiencies that just keep depleting because of the mould and now my body has decided it can no longer tolerate vitamin D3 or folate (in any form) and nobody knows why?
we have developed very serious fungal infections, I have fluid behind my eardrum, severe & painful bloating, hypersalivation and a lump in my throat from the Candida (fungal infection), These are the symptoms from the candida alone and without prompt treatment, it can be potentially life threatening.

As for the mould we are suffering different (at least 50) symptoms combined from both physical and mental.
Mould is not just an inconvenience; it's a silent killer that can lead to hundreds of different health problems if left unchecked. Yet landlords, housing associations, and councils often neglect to address these issues promptly or effectively.

In reference to the petition, we are calling for systemic change: medical professionals must take mould-related health problems seriously rather than attributing them to mental health disorders. We demand access to reliable tests that can affirm the presence of mould toxins in our bodies.

Furthermore, landlords – including housing associations and councils – must be held accountable for resolving mould issues swiftly before they escalate into severe health crises. The current lackadaisical approach is unacceptable; it puts tenants' lives at risk while perpetrators face minimal consequences.

The petition I set up isn't just about my family; it's about all families living in similar conditions who are suffering silently because their legitimate concerns are being dismissed or ignored by those who should be protecting them.
