Our aim is to help and educate indigenous women entrepreneurs in leadership with the help of the Hunger Project UK.
We are Hope, a group of 6 students, from the University of Westminster. Through this platform, we hope to gather support and donations, to help the indigenous women of Mexico.
Currently, there are women in Mexico suffering from abuse, discrimination, and injustice just because of their gender, ethnicity, and their socio-economic status. These women live in rural areas and lack the access to proper sanitation and healthcare. They are forced to work to provide income for their household whilst enduring abuse from their husbands.
Through the Hunger Project UK, we wish to equip these Indigenous women who have the least power and least access to productive resources with entrepreneurial and leadership skills and strategies to launch, innovate and grow their businesses.
