On the morning of 09/07/23 an electrical fire burnt down the Cafe on the Quay. This fundraiser is to help Debbie rebuild it.
Dear customers, supporters and the local community,
We are reaching out to you in a time of great need and with heavy hearts to share the devastating news that Café on the Quay, a beloved local establishment, has recently fallen victim to an electrical fire. This cherished café, owned by Debbie for over 20 years, held a special place in our hearts as a gathering spot for friends, families, and visitors alike. Today, we stand together to help Debbie rebuild her dream, but we need your support!

The fire has left Café on the Quay in ruins, and sadly, the insurance coverage only extends to replacing the contents, not the building itself. This unexpected turn of events has left Debbie in a difficult position, as the cost to rebuild the café from scratch far exceeds her current resources.
That's why we're launching this crowdfunding campaign, with the goal of raising £5000 to help Debbie secure a suitable building and get Café on the Quay up and running as soon as possible. With your generous contributions, we can work together to bring this local gem back to life and restore a sense of community and joy to our beloved café.

We deeply appreciate any contribution you can make, whether big or small. Every donation brings us one step closer to seeing the smiling faces of friends and neighbours once again filling the café.
Even if you are unable to donate please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks, and let's rebuild Café on the Quay, stronger and more resilient than ever!
Thank you for your generosity and for being part of our Café on the Quay family.
