We’re searching for a dedicated venue for Mahaba Café and plan to open in early 2025. We really need your help to fit out our new premises!
Help Us Build the Future for Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Ealing!
We’re Mahaba Café, an award-winning social enterprise in Ealing, creating a welcoming, inclusive space for young people with special educational needs, disabilities (SEND), and/or autism to work, thrive, and build their future.
We're on a mission to open a dedicated Mahaba Café in early 2025 and we need YOUR help! By donating, you’ll directly support our training programme and give young people the opportunity to gain skills and secure jobs in our community. Every pound makes a difference!
Our goal: £10,000 in just 8 weeks. Every penny raised will go towards equipping our new café, creating more opportunities for young people to work, grow, and succeed.
Why We Need Your Support
Founded by Muriel Morgan Walckiers in 2023, Mahaba Café was created to tackle the employment inequality facing young people with SEND in Ealing. In just over a year, we’ve provided work experience and trained 26 young people; half of our graduates, not still in fulltime education, are already in employment roles. And this is just the beginning!
We’ve been recognised as Employability Project of the Year at the Young Ealing Foundation Awards, and now we’re ready to expand and train even more young people to build the future they deserve.
