Help us make our Short Film - 'Game of Truths'!

In just over a weeks time, we are shooting our short film 'Game of Truths' (working title) written and directed by Colin Hubbard. 

This short film project began a little differently. Only a few weeks ago, a group of actors came together, keen to create something worthwhile and collaborate with other wonderful artists. We sent out a Writers Call Out, looking for submissions for an exciting premise for a short film. We were overwhelmed with the response and the quality of submissions, and after reviewing the ideas, we were so excited to begin our collaboration with Colin Hubbard.

Colin's script explores how toxic masculinity and destructive behavior patterns can exist within romantic relationships. The story revolves around two couples having dinner, and as the evening progresses, the pairs turn to games such as 'truth or dare'/'never have I ever' ect, and we discover the relationships are more entwined and messy than we once believed. As secrets are shared, we follow David's trajectory and how he deals will the uncomfortable truths within his relationship. The piece is a real ensemble four-hander, and we're all incredibly excited to tell this story.

The project has evolved quickly with huge amounts of positive energy, momentum and enthusiasm, and we are so excited by the challenge of the short turnaround we have given ourselves to create in.
