The Victoria Inn is one of Derby's independent grassroots live music venues, dedicated to championing original live music and giving emerging artists a stage to be heard.

Our 120-capacity gig room has become a destination for music lovers looking to discover new bands, support touring artists, and experience unforgettable live performances in an intimate setting. We believe live music should be about more than tribute acts and nostalgia—it should be about finding your next favourite band.

As a grassroots venue, we're committed to supporting artists properly. Every penny from gig ticket sales goes directly to the bands, because we believe the people creating the music deserve to be paid for what they do.

Over the years, The Victoria Inn has built a reputation as a welcoming venue for musicians and audiences alike, hosting everything from local talent taking their first steps on stage to established touring acts. We're proud to be part of Derby's thriving music community and to provide a space where original music can flourish.

Our gig room is an amazing place to experience live music, but anyone who's been to a sold-out show knows it gets incredibly warm. By raising £3,000 to install air conditioning, we'll make the venue more comfortable for audiences, performers and staff, ensuring The Vic can continue delivering incredible live music experiences for years to come.
