ALL ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Hello!
Oliver and Steve here:
When we heard that Bond had been sold to E-commerce giant Amazon, we both (separately) thought that there was potential for a short comedy film satirising said partnership... On realising that we’d both has the same curiosity, we worked out a story, dreamt up a load of droll and relevant gags, and penned a short script entitled: 'James Blonde: Licence to Deliver' (which will run at about 7 minutes). In it we learn what happens when the worlds greatest superspy becomes an employee for 'Ammazing', a ruthless multinational corporation that is obsessed with efficiency and profit above all else...
Influenced by the likes Monty Python, Dr Strangelove, and Airplane! We’ve creating a biting satire albeit with a lot of extra silliness thrown in for good measure...
Our mission (ahem) is to create joy and laughter by bringing out script to life - fast, while the news of Bond's sale is still (somewhat) fresh.
We’ve gathered a crack team of filmmakers and actors who are -like us- willing to give their time and energy to make something great over the course of one epic shoot day in Bristol, England, on Sunday 4th May.
HOWEVER, to make this shoot happen, we need your support. More specifically, we need help paying for the Studio Hire, Insurance, Props, Costumes, equipment, Food, Biscuits, Coffee etc
£1,500 is our aim; this would cover our costs therefore stopping us going into debt.
We're not doing traditional rewards on this: anyone who gives any money towards the project becomes part of our gang, receiving exclusive updates about the film, a thanks in the end credits, and an opportunity to see the film in advance of it going public.
Thank you for your time,
Oliver & Steve
ps on the donation page there's an autofill option of a tip to crowdfunder - but this can be zeroed (or whatever) by clicking the 'custom tip' button...
