Our Community Café is more than a café. It is a warm, affordable space where people connect, reduce isolation and feel part of the community

At The Hub, our Community Café is much more than somewhere to have a coffee.

 It is a safe, welcoming and affordable space where people come together every day to connect, reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and feel part of their community.

 For many people, the café is one of the few places they can go without pressure, judgement or expectation.

 Open 7 days a week with a free Soft play

• older adults experiencing loneliness,
• families struggling with the cost of living,
• young people looking for connection,
• volunteers building confidence and skills,
• local groups meeting for support and friendship,
• and residents simply looking for a warm, welcoming place to belong.

The café has become part of the heartbeat of our community.

 As a community-led charity, we work hard to keep prices affordable and the space accessible to everyone. However, rising operational costs now place increasing pressure on the café's sustainability.

That is why we are asking for your support.

 Funds raised through this campaign will help us:

• keep the café affordable and accessible,
• support community wellbeing activities,
• provide a safe and welcoming environment,
• reduce social isolation,
• support volunteers and employability opportunities,
• and continue creating a space where everyone feels included.

With support from the Aviva Community Fund matched-funding programme, every donation has the potential to go even further and create a lasting impact within our community.
