On the 28th April 2021 we'd raised £5,735 with 88 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Help us to invest in creating a production kitchen + expanding our business through the purchase of new equipment for big projects in 2021.

On the 28th April 2021 we'd raised £5,735 with 88 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
THANK YOU so so much for helping us reach our target... this stretch target will definitely not go to waste and will allow us to invest in our team, hiring more staff (in particular a chef to help build our ops even further!).

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, but thanks to all of your amazing support, we have been able to not only survive through every tier and every lock down, but THRIVE, ensuring our business remains strong enough to support our team of 4 girl bosses. We could not have done this without your support (and obsession with our donuts!).
We are looking to raise £5k to be matched by the Mayor of London which we will be putting towards: creating our first production kitchen which will allow us to expand our business into other areas and the purchase of new equipment and setups for the big plans we have for summer 2021 and beyond!
In order to expand we need to build our own production kitchen - we have already seen some promising spaces in the Hackney area that we would be able to successfully turn into a production space. At the moment our business growth is limited to our tiny 3mx4m shop space in which we make, create and sell everything from. We are already outgrowing this space and need to create a bigger space, increase production and also allow us to hire more chefs.
We will also use the funds to install new equipment in our current shop such as new freezers, a commercial ice cream machine, soft serve machine and other vital equipment we need for summer. We are also expanding to create more space as our business grows, this will require us to purchase extra space to facilitate this.
Our second site will be reopening in less than 2 months and we will need to add more equipment to the space to further support our expansion plans for this year.
All of our big plans for 2021 and beyond will lead us to expanding our team of 4 and hiring more staff to join us on our dessert journey. This is a vital part of what we're trying to do as a business: employing the very best in hospitality giving them a chance to thrive within a small biz that truly cares about it's people.
