We need your help as a town to get us on air. We need fund to get the necessary licence to be allowed on air.

The Story of Radio Whitchurch — Help Us Bring Local Radio to Life

Imagine waking up one morning and hearing a familiar voice coming from your radio.

Not a voice from London or Manchester, but someone from Whitchurch.

Someone who knows the streets you walk down, the businesses you shop in, the events happening in the town and the people who make Whitchurch what it is.

That is the idea behind Radio Whitchurch.

We’re building a brand-new community radio station from the ground up. Our ambition is simple: to create a station that belongs to the town.

But before we can properly get on air, there is an important part of the journey we need your help with.

🎙️ We need to fund our radio licences

Running a legitimate radio station comes with costs, particularly the licences that allow us to legally play the music our listeners love.

We want to raise enough money to cover these essential licensing costs for our first year.

We don't want Radio Whitchurch to be a project controlled by a handful of people. We want it to be something the whole town can be proud of.

That's why we're asking Whitchurch to get behind us.
