The Cause
We make the Cornwall’s Climate Stories documentaries very quickly (because we are in a climate emergency!) and more economically than most comparative film productions. Even so, making films is not cheap - each of our episodes costs up to £35,000.
Now you can be in with a chance of winning this beautiful painting (64cm x 64cm) – while also helping us to make more of these inspiring films and get important climate conversations started in communities, cinemas and schools across Cornwall and beyond!
Winner to be announced on May 30, 2024.
Thank you so much.

About artist Julie Evans' work
Julie creates landscape art inspired by the rugged peninsula she calls home and how it changes over the seasons, celebrating the picture perfect scenery with the drama of the weather. She has been particularly inspired by the more recent severe storm events Cornwall has experienced, creating huge swells which have contributed to coastal erosion and flooding, but hopes to show that the calm after the storm gives us a chance to catch our breath and marvel at the capacity for renewal in the face of disaster - if we are willing to play our part.
Julie is based in Cornwall and is also inspired by local moorland and gardens. She paints in oil and her works are known for their highly textural quality. Many of her paintings have been digitally reproduced as designs for limited edition textile products, sold in the UK and abroad. Her work has been exhibited in local and national galleries, including St Mawes in Cornwall and London.
