We aim to raise funds to provide ongoing support to communities in Nigeria that are on the brink of famine.
Rural communities in Nigeria have been plagued by bandit attacks that have devastated the local farming industry. Farmers are often deliberately targeted because they are perceived as relatively wealthy within their regions, even though in states such as Kaduna the average monthly income for a farmer is typically less than $100.

Bandits routinely extort farmers through persistent kidnapping, looting, and intimidation. In some cases, they seize farmland and even mutilate farmers’ hands to prevent them from farming in the area. This extreme brutality has deepened poverty and contributed to rising food prices.

As a result, many villagers can no longer afford basic staples and survive on very small amounts of food each day. Our team witnessed the devastating consequences of these attacks firsthand. Whilst distributing rice in villages in Kaduna, desperation grew as our rice supplies began to run low. Despite working in conflict zones across the globe, our team has not seen desperation like this before.

Our plan is to return to Nigeria to set up mobile soup kitchens, deliver additional food and essential aid, and explore longer-term solutions that can help support these vulnerable communities.
The situation across many rural areas of Nigeria remains dire, and we are eager to act quickly to provide direct assistance to displaced families and struggling villagers before conditions deteriorate further.
Please consider giving generously to help us support those who need it most.
