Help us expand into a community well-being hub

Aim

We aim to provide a programme of well-being and support classes for young families that are struggling with health, isolation and income.

For those who don’t know, Happy Planet Play Centre is an eco friendly play centre and cafe with sustainability, community and well-being at its core.  We use reused, recycled and repurposed items to create a play haven for children under 6 that nurtures and encourages exploration, expression, and self confidence. 

We also have on site a vegan and veggie cafe serving tasty and wholesome food for all dietary requirements.

As a team of working mums we know how hard parenting is especially when you have a young family. We are here to offer help in whichever way we can, to support families in creating a happy and healthy upbringing for their child/children. So we are working towards making Happy Planet into a family/community well-being hub.

Our aim is to host a range of supporting groups and classes focusing on fun and expression, health and well-being, support and togetherness. These include art and music, dance, yoga, massage, breast feeding support, pre and post natal support, sensory and messy play, therapeutic petting farm, reading and story time and Women’s and Men’s circles; along with different types of healing and therapeutic classes.

We aim to offer subsidised classes for people who are suffering hardship to make it accessible to all.

Looking after your well-being has profound effects not just on the person but everyone around them as their wellness radiates on to the next. Helping families integrate wellness into their weekly routine will give children a great foundation to make wellness a solid part of their adult lives.  

The money raised will be used to coordinate and fund the class programme, buy equipment and help spread the word with the use of carful marketing.

Wellness is becoming widely accessible but we haven’t experienced it for all age ranges in once place.
