We need to buy the ground to SAVE OUR CLUB and ensure the amazing facilities remain for our community for generations to come.
We are a thriving, multigenerational cricket club with more than 55 years of history, proudly based in the heart of Kingsley village. This season we have twelve teams competing in Cheshire leagues. Juniors from 7-19, including all girl’s teams, 5 senior teams including 2 women’s teams and the 2025 Cheshire Softball Women’s champions.
We are a club with strong membership, talented players, dedicated coaches and fantastic volunteers but we are also so much more. We are a community and a family, and this club is an important part of our lives.

Across the region, many cricket clubs are under pressure from falling participation, rising costs, and changing habits. KCC is different. We have the passion, people, and ambition to grow — but our ground is up for sale, and we have until January 2027 to complete the purchase. Securing our ground is essential without it our history and our fantastic facilities will be yet another fading memory and lost to cricket and the community forever.
We want control over our future to enable the growth and development potential. The use of the ground has been restricted to just 5 months of the year. Owning the ground frees us from any restrictions and allows the community to use the facilities all year round. We will bring in additional sports and activities and with it introduce many new people to the physical and mental health benefits of participating in sport but also being part of a supportive, positive, fun community environment.
By supporting this campaign, you will help us bring the wider community together, revive much-loved events such as the annual beer festival, expand our outreach, and create a lasting legacy for current and future generations.

The money raised will be used to help fund the purchase of the ground. This £30,000 is not the full cost of the ground, it's the amount we're asking the community to help raise. The rest will be covered by a loan. Every pound raised here reduces how much we need to borrow, which means lower repayments and a more sustainable future for the club.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a Donation. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
