Help to recover from SCAM.

Aim: Raise back enough money so to not have to close my business. We were scammed out of £3000 for an order of stock from Spain.

Me and my partner have worked tirelessly on our business “woo discounts” which sells soft drinks online and via social channels. We built up a strong following and saw our sales increase over time.

We wanted a way to increase profit so we made some enquiries online for suppliers overseas. After long discussions and receiving company documents, registration for VAT and negotiating on the price we decided to order with a company in Spain called Poshe Drinks.

They promised delivery via road and provided tracking information from a so called carrier company. Delivery would be approximately 7 days and so we decided to use our profits to order the stock in hope of a better return.

The day of delivery came and NOTHING.

Tried to contact the person I was dealing with and NOTHING.

We are desperate to recover the near £3000 we spent in order to continue our venture and create a better future for ourselves.

A lesson has been learnt for sure, which is what business is all about but this has crippled us.

The bank refused to refund us any money due to it being an overseas transaction and the police said they had no leads.

Until now we have been propping up the company with our own money, which is creating personal difficulty aswell. My elderly grandmother also kindly lent us £1000 towards the deal which I would love to be able to repay as she has very little.
