We are an Asian community club but aiming to have different cultures or different community people in our club.  We decide to make this club when the COVID 19 pandemic started. As we say people suffering with mental health as they were not able to go out, Gym where close, lose of income, kids always on their electronic devices PS4,Laptop,Tablet, mobile phone, Nintendo etc… So we decided to make a cricket club where kids can enjoy and get active instead of using and sitting all day on electronic devices, people who suffer with mental health able to meet new people play get active and have healthy lifestyle. Due to lose of income some people had to cancel gym membership so those people were able to do some fitness training. Oldham king Riders cricket club plays a huge role in the community of Westwood, Werneth, Coldhurst or nearby in Oldham  and we’re asking players, families, fans, friends, sponsors and anyone else if they can donate, however big or small to keep our club open.
Our club is made for community benefit where we have a group of Under18,U11,U8 also facility for asylum seekers. We got few disabled children as soon we get ground we may took them out to play.We have a great team of players who come from all walks of life, but come together through the love of cricket. We made our club to provide our community a better active healthy balance life style. We know it’s a big ask, but any donation means a lot. Ultimately, without funds or support from the community our club would need to close and we need all your help to prevent this from happening. We would like to thank you for your continued support, especially our volunteers who work tirelessly to make the club the best place possible, and to all of the people who have continued to pay memberships, sponsor a ball or already made a donation.
