Aim

I am an aspiring AI researcher with a passion for improving autism diagnosis. I need your help to fund my MSc degree at UCL from Sept 2025.

Hey everyone My name is Kitti and I am a 31 year old aspiring AI researcher with a passion for improving autism diagnosis. I need your help to fund my MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging at University College London (UCL) from September 2025 to September 2026.

The total cost is £18,400, with a critical £1,840 deposit due by July 31, 2025.

I have no family or anyone who can support me and I am living with mental health challenges, and awaiting an autism assessment, so that's why I’m turning to this community to make my dream a reality.

I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), achieved an 86.83% average and a 4.01 GPA.

My final year project, "Autism Classification with Multi-branch CNN," used MRI data to classify Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by focusing on brain regions like the amygdala, hippocampus, and cerebellum. My model achieved 59.73% accuracy and a 61.77% AUC, demonstrating the importance of age and high-quality preprocessing in ASD diagnosis.

The UCL MSc program would equip me with advanced skills to push my research further, combining AI with medical imaging to address real-world challenges in autism diagnosis and other mental health problems.

However, without financial support, I cannot afford the £18,400 tuition fees or the £1,840 deposit. I tried to apply for the UCL Scholarship but unfortunately my application was not successful.

Your contribution, no matter the size, would help me secure my place and continue my goal to help children with ASD and mental health difficulties and make their life easier.

Here’s how your support will help:

£1,840 for deposit by July 31, 2025.

£18,400 total to cover tuition fees for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Every donation brings me closer to my goal and to advancing AI-driven solutions for autism. I’ll share updates on my journey and research outcomes with all supporters. Thank you for believing in me and my vision to improve lives through technology!
