Aim

Help the students of Annette Street learn and have an equal chance in society!

  Your help will aid them greatly!

‎1) £10 could buy board games like Guess Who? or Articulate which will help children to develop and practise their language skills and teach social skills of turn-taking, following rules and fair play.

2) £20 could buy seeds and shrubs that the children could plant in our school garden to learn about how things grow, how to look after and nurture our environment and about sustainability.

3) £40 could buy some playground equipment which would help to make our playground a better learning environment for our children, providing opportunities for children to interact and integrate  through play without the need for lots of English

4) £50 could resource an imaginative play corner in a classroom such as a dressing up role box, a cafe, a hospital or a hous corner where children can practise manipulating and exploring new English vocabulary and practising using new language in a context.

5) £75 could buy some play resources for older children such as Lego or Mechano which will encourage and stimulate their creativity and imagination and teach social skills of sharing and good manners and develop their STEM skills.

6) £100 could resource an after school club for families, where children and adults could learn English together through playing together.

7) £150 could kit out a class with wellies to wear on an outdoor visit to the park to build dens and learn how to look after and respect our local environment.

8) £200 could fund a trip to the seaside or the countryside to encourage children to explore outdoor environments, teach them new vocabulary and learn about places in Scotland, thier new home.

9) £300 could help us to store our play resources in good quality storage units with shelving and boxes to ensure that our resources will be looked after for a long time.

10) £500 could help us to make improvements to our playground which would enrich our children's experiences of play.

11) £1,000 would fund an outdoor classroom where children can make the most of learning and playing outdoors.
