Help the Greens stand all our candidates in the NE

Aim

To stand all of our candidates in the General Election right across the NE region - to give all voters the opportunity to vote Green.

We urgently need to raise the money to enable all our candidates to stand in the General Election in the North East. That's 29 constituencies in total. Our local parties have all been fundraising in lots of different ways for the local elections we have just had last week, but we now have very little left! Each local party has been trying their best to raise the money for the £500 deposit for each parliamentary candidate, but we haven't raised enough yet and the deadline is this Thursday! We hope to raise sufficient funds to cover 10 more deposits making a total of £5,000.

On June 8th we want to stand stronger than ever in delivering a message of hope across the North East. There is another way to do politics and the Green Party believes strongly in representing communities right down to the last individual. If you want to see a change in the political world, help us to stand candidates and give people the opportunity to vote Green.

You can support us by donating to our Emergency Election Fund today. Please give what you can, we need £5,000 to stand those 10 candidates and all extra money raised will go to supporting their campaigns.

We are not bankrolled by Big Business. We do not have large wealthy unions giving us handouts. We fund ourselves and represent the policies decided by our members, democratically, and according to the needs of the communities we serve.
