Help the Feminist Library build its new home

We love Crowdfunder UK! Thanks to ongoing improvements by their team, our crowdfunding page has now been updated and we now have our new online target and deadline up on it - which will hopefully help us reach our full move target by the 29th March. It also happens to be towards the end of Women's History Month, so we have all the confidence that, with the help of the feminist community, we can do it! But we still have nearly £10,000 to raise within just over a month, so we'll need all the help we can get - please help us spread the word and reach the whole feminist world with the news of the Feminist Library move! 

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been working hard on finalising the timeline for our move - so keep an eye out for the news of the move dates (and the opening party!) coming your way soon, hopefully! We have also received the amazing news from our feminist design team that our shelves are now ready and will be moved to the new space very soon - this is the first crucial step in getting the new Feminist Library home ready! We feel really excited about it, as it brings us one huge step closer to our new home, which will be absolutely gorgeous! 

In the couple of weeks since the last update, we also received new designs from our fab team of feminist designers, architects and makers! :) Our new space is slowly becoming a reality, but to ensure that we can make it into the marvelous new home that the Feminist Library deserves, we still need to raise almost £10,000 - please spread the word by sharing this update with your friends and family today! 

Happily, the Feminist Library campaign still continues to gain new interest! Just last week, our story was covered by Artefact magazine and Information Today Europe. We still need more support and donations - if you have any media contacts or skills you could share with us, please do get in touch and get on board to help us make this amazing campaign in the Feminist Library herstory a success! 

And don't forget - our AGM and 44th birthday party is coming up on the 14th March! Join us, and help us say goodbye to our home of 33 years in style - this will be the last ever Feminist Library event in our current premises! And look at the gorgeous poster we got gifted by our Korean sisters to celebrate the occasion! :)
