The Duckpond Players are a small amateur dramatics group based in Fleckney, Leicestershire. For over 20 years we have brought the local community a variety of shows including pantomimes, plays, murder mysteries, musicals...to name a few!
We love sharing our passion for performing with our local community and unsurprisingly, this past year has been very difficult for us. The pandemic has meant that we haven't been able to hold a performance since our last Pantomime in November 2019. Performances are our main source of income and although we haven't been performing, there are still bills that need to be paid.
As lockdown begins to ease, we are finally looking towards getting back into rehearsals for our current show 'The Wizard of Oz'. However, we cannot perform until we update and replace elements of our stage lighting. This comes a quite a high cost.
Any amount that you could donate would be greatly revieved. Please help us to get back onto stage and continue to bring laughter and joy to the community for years to come.
